6. L’Escorial

Fishermen cottage L’Escorial

Where the sea cradles…

At the easternmost end of the north row lays L’Escorial. It has the most peculiar and spacious terrace, located on top of two boathouses and overlooking the old harbour and the sea.

Apparently, the name comes from the time needed for its restoration decades ago. The natives used to say, “this house takes longer to be finished than the Escorial!”.

The hut is beautifully restored and has an optimal use of its space; the voluptuousness of its tiled floors and ancient mud walls wrap you in history and comfort. Its beautiful terrace is covered with a pine branches porch preserving the old fisherman style.
