Fishermen cottage Ca na cossi

What if you were a fisherman?…

Located in the northern row, next to Ca’n Pons, it is the largest hut at our disposal.

Formerly it was the boarding house and inn of the village, where people passing through used to stay. Its name comes from the last fishermen family that lived there, from “Ca Na Cossi”, as they were known. A “Cossi” in Catalan is a vessel with a small base and a wide neck used to wash clothes.

This renewed hut consists of multiple spaces: two bedrooms, a loft arranged as a third bedroom, a spacious outdoor living room-kitchen and a spacious lounge with a double sofa-bed. Of all the huts, this one preserves the most original elements, which gives it a rustic and authentic feel. This hut has a large cistern inside, spars and ribs of ancient ships as beams, a beautiful and rudimentary marés sandstone arch, handmade by a fisherman, and a spacious loft, used to store nets and other fishing equipment.
